Second international unmarked string test

80 free unmarked sets of string (monofilament, 17L gauge, 1.22mm) are going to be distributed to qualified testers world-wide!

Each selected tester will receive one set. The strings should be tested in your standard setup (for modern polys) within 6 weeks after receipt. After the playtest the results must be submitted to Stringforum.net.

You may apply as a tester until August 5th, 2006.
Please provide some good and meaningful arguments why you should be selected as a tester.

Since 66 out of 80 testers (82.5%) have submitted their reviews I think it's time to announce the identity of the test string.

It's a fairly unknown string brand from Germany, from former Luxilon distributor Cannon. The string is called Cannon Scorpion 1.22.

Hi Jens! I struggled a bit finding the name of the blind string. Maybe you should add some kind of blindtest section somewhere ;-)

Nothing scheduled at the moment, but there should be at least one blind test this year, stay tuned ;)
