I posted this on GSS and thought I would also post here for additional feedback.
I was stringing a Prince More Performance Thunder OS at the requested upper tension limit of 69 lb. and experienced a frame/grommet pull through at T14/13. This frame is a quasi grommetless design. There are not any normal grommets and the holes are very small. I have attached two photos (Photo 1 shows the failure at the inside of the frame at the untensioned string. Photo 2 shows the pull through failure at the outside of the frame at the "e" in Prince.)

Has anyone experienced this before? There was not any indication of a problem until I heard a small "crunch" kind of sound as I tensioned the cross. This was the outside of the frame, between the 13T and 14 T grommet holes, failing (I completed the failure in working to get the string removed). I inspected the frame before stringing (had already completed its mate) and did not notice anything that looked strange. There was a very small frame chip at the inside of the frame at the T14 hole (again, this frame does not have a typical grommet arrangement) and I am guessing this failure commenced at the last stringing which was by another stringer.
I am not sure how old the frame is and do not have any experience as to what a manufacturer will warranty. I do not feel this is a stringing error, but want to work with the customer. What do you' all recommend - any hope with Prince? -try to find a used frame? Your comments and feedback are appreciated.
Thanks, gotwheels
