HI ,I'm tired of paying for stringing and I have to go somewhere to have it done.I break strings pretty often.I was wondering if someone was selling a stringer used or new for under
$300. I also heard that Alpha Revo 4000 and laserfibre MS200 ECO are good. Please help me if u can.

Hey,

Silent partner has a great dropweight for under 200 its called the Silent Partner swing it is $199 and you can check it out at www.sptennis.com. Other companies are cheaper but this one is well worth it and I own this machine and I paid it off in 2 weeks. I break strings every 5-10 hours.

Hope this helps out,

Clay

Also, take a look at the Alpha String Pal. Nice machine with nice features for a low price ($129 US I think). The Alpha Customer Service is first rate. This or the SP Swing would be a great starter machine.

If you think you will be serious about stringing, I recommend you upgrade and go with a six point mounting system and fixed clamps.

I would also warn you to use caution if you pursue an Eagnus or Mutual Power machine. There seems to be a higher rate of quality and service issues with these suppliers. If you have stringing experience and are mechanically inclined these machines may be a value; otherwise, you may not recognize an inherent problem that may exist.
