Hi DF,

You did a great job to supply the phone numbers to Jaypro, but apparantly he didn't really appreciate your efforts. We haven't heard from him since then.

I had a little look around, because a character like Jaypro can't keep quiet for more than a day or so, and as you once posted "where is JayCee?" I figured it was time to find out "where is Jaypro?" :p

Guess what I found :

Jay

Once you join the USRSA you'll get a stringers digest that will have all those contact numbers plus many more.

So DF, that means that our buddy Jason asked the very same question the next day on this STRINGFORUM that you replied to him with the answer he needed in only 10 minutes, which is one hell of a lot better than being told to join the USRSA if you want the phone numbers.

Whatever the reasons, it has been very quiet without Jaypro, and I for one am starting to miss him, no one left to make fun of. Don't worry though, he is in good company, he has already made 17 postings on the GSS Forum in only 4 days, which is not much compared to about 140 postings here in less than 3 weeks. ;)

You will be happy to hear that he is already inquiring about what he needs to do to get a Certificate as a Master Stringer (he needs to join the USRSA first, and also learn a little more on how to string racquets) but has already informed the GSS Forum that he is interested in acquiring a Babolat stringing machine (Star 3 or 4, but would prefer a "Sensor") and plans to open a shop next year. By 2006 he should be ready for the stringing room with all the Tour Pros at Wimbledon. A complete program full of ambition. It's great, :D a whole new future for a guy who learnt how to string right here on our Forum with our help. I am very proud of this achievement and thank all of you who participated in this wonderful adventure. ;)
Bye for now,

wow JayCee, sooooooo much sarcasm in only 1 post...how do you do it?? fyi...i posted that question immediately after posting it here, not the next day, secondly, Df did a great job answering my question here, and i told him so. next: i have no need for a babolat machine right now, but i would love 1. i do not recall inquring about 1, if i did it was purely out of curiosity, if you have the thread i'de like to see it.
4th: I have wanted to open a shop for quite some time, but recently have become very motivated to do it for a few different reasons.
5: MRT status, again just curious what it took and how long to get it. I do plan on getting it 1 day.
6: i have only dreams of stringing at a grand slam right now. i know how good i am and that i need to learn ALOT to even hold a candle to those guys. i.e Tim Strawn, Richard Parnell, and Sam Chan

I will say that the GSS forum is very informative and open. everyone particiaptes, and noone laughs at you, or degrades you because you ask a question.. they are there to help, not put you down to make themselves look or feel better about themselves like some people on other stringer forums. Tim Strawn has been especially helpful to me, we have been emailing back and forth a little bit about the pro shop business. Good to be back boys...I missed you too JayCee

I really missed you mate, I was hoping like hell that you would get the message that I was out looking for you. I spend 3 days looking at an empty forum, no Jaypro to be replying to. :( Sorry my sick wit got the best of me,

So its normal that I take it out on you all in one posting. :o

Tou can have a beer on me. :D

By the way, I also enjoy the GSS Forum postings, they are not always cool as you think, but there again they haven't got to know you as well as we do. I thought my posting about you would give you more pleasure than it apparently did, overlook my sarcasm and see the good side of it all, we missed you man, we missed you. Ain't that great. :D :D :D

Later,
