ITF Junior Girl's Rankings (Updated Monday, December 10th 2007) :
This week there are 5 changes in the Top 10, 3 UPS and 2 DOWNS and another 10 changes in the Top 20 : 9 UPS and 1 big DOWN, as well as 1 IN and 1 OUT. All together there are 62/80 changes this week in the remaining Top 100.
3 UPS in the Top 10 this week :
- Melanie Oudin +6 > #4 (this 16 year old, after last week's win in the Eddie Herr Final, she was Finalist of the Orange Bowl, Girls 18 in Key Biscayne, FL - USA.)
- Kurumi Nara +2 > #7 (Winner of the Osaka Mayor's Cup - Girls 18 in Osaka, Japan, agaist Top Seed Nikola Hofmanova 63 61)
- Ksenia Lykina +3 > #8 (SF of the Osaka Mayor's Cup)
2 DOWNS in the Top 10 this week :
Nikola Hofmanova -5 > #9
Madison Brengle -3 > #10
9 UPS in the Top 20 this week, here are the 3 most interesting performances :
- Bojana Jovanovski +3 > 11 (still only 15 years old, got to 2nd round in the Orange Bowl, Girls 18, and now ITF #11, very promising.)
- Katarzyna Piter +2 > #17 (this 16 year old made another jump this week, reaching 3rd round in the Orange Bowl, Girls 18)
- Michelle Larcher de Brito +35 > #20 (with her win in the final of the Orange Bowl, Girls 18 in Key Biscayne, FL - USA over Melanie Oudin 75 63).
