I can not get over that we have a Wilson Chris Evert Autograph model wooden racquet (I'm certain that it's the same as all the other Name Autograph models by Wilson) with a very slight warp. It has been normally stored in an upstairs closet, normal dry cool house hold enviroment, only covered with the vinyl cover. The warp is so slight that only by laying the racquet on the court, I found that the head rocks a little, then turning it over, it's solid on the ground. I repeated this test several times for accuracy.
Now here's my question (finally) If I used the metal "X" bracket directly on the racquet, would the problem be corrected over time? I do have to say that it is so slight as if one way the racquet head is flat, turning it over you can slide a dime under the gap. Thanks for allowing me this question, Ken
