Brand new stringer ready to get to work on my backup racquet (Secret EX midplus, the old green, red and white racquet) with my new Gamma X-2. Only one problem. Before I knew what I was doing, I took the old string out without noting the string pattern! This is a rare racquet and I have no idea what the pattern is, tie-off holes, 2 piece lengths, et. cet. Any help would be greatly appreciated. BTW, this really is a very underrated racquet, in my humble 4.0 view. Great spin, and it looks good too.

I couldn't find any info on the 'net about that racket. Interesting paintjob, however. lol. For now, your best bet is to give yourself 20 feet for the mains and 20 feet for the crosses. String it at 55 lbs. and basically just wing it. I believe there are six holes in the throat, so that means you need to start the mains there.

While you're stringing it, check to make sure the mains look like they're spaced evenly. Additionally, the grommets may be "bent" in one direction or another, which is a great clue to tell you if that particular hole is for a main string or a cross string. The racket probably has 16 mains.

So, once you've tensioned the 8th string on one side, keep searching around the frame to find the nearest hole you can tie off on. Do the same when you finish the other half.

Now to start the crosses. Again, find a large enough hole to fit the string through and tie your starting knot. When you finish what will likely be your 19th cross string, find yet another hole to tie off on. Let us know how it works.
