I have a Stringway Cross Stringing Tool for sale. I acquired it when it was part of a bundle of bits & pieces that came with a 2nd hand machine. It is virtually brand new and looks like it has hardly been used.
I've tried it a couple of times and can see that it would be particularly useful for stiff strings, such as Polyester and the new ones like Touch Turbo, ProHurricane, etc.
There is a bit of information on the www.stringway.com (http://www.stringway.com) site (under Accessories), together with a picture. Here is what they say about it.....
<ul>Very Fast Cross string weaver tool which speeds up the stringing process and reduces friction wear.
No Wear of the Strings - While stringing, the cross strings do not hit the mains which eliminates the wear on the strings.
Universal - The tool is supplied with two different cams to fit nearly all racquets.
