they've both been injured and havent played many tournaments in the last year, and since there is no $$ involved in the olympics why risk reinjury and miss the US Open where the real $$ is?

And Americans are usually very proud to play for their country.

You don't get much chances to win a gold medal either, but there's always another US Open next year.

Everyone needs more $$ Hawkeye, especially we greedy Americans. They have both been sidelined with injuries, or so they say. as far as your question of steroid use among them, it wouldnt surprise me. they are 2 jacked chicks, but you never hear of their work ethic or any workout routines they do.

That's interesting. Just what testing is done in the tennis world as you don't hear of many positive tests in tennis. Is the ATP and WTP working with WADA already ?
