inexperienced stringer

ello, i'm based in wales, UK and i'm thinking of getting myself a machine during the summer, ready for when uni starts in october. Can anyone give me a few pointers? i will need to be able to move it easily for when i go home from uni, and also to be relatively cheap - under £300 maybe?
i've read the guides on the site whcih have been pretty helpful - i'm thinking a table-top one would be the most practical, but apart from that i'm not too sure.

Hi,

in the UK there is Tennis Tech (www.tennis-tech.co.uk (http://www.tennis-tech.co.uk)), they offer a line of Stringway machines, which are of good quality. If portability is an issue you should go for either the M60 or M100. You will have to request their prices.
