Hi, i recently bought a stringing machine second hand for a very good price, with one major defect, a broken swivel clamp. Fortunately there were a pair of fly clamps that i'm using meanwhile, but i would like to repair the clamp if at all possible. The problem is that the pins that protude from the base of the clamp and hold the swivel section in place have snapped clean off. Can they be reattached with metal glue or do i need to replace the base?

There is a lot of force on a clamp when the tension head is released. I seriously doubt if and kind of glue is going to hold it. You might be able to have it welded and resurfaced at a local machine shop. You could also contact Jim Henry at TennisMachines, Inc. You also might try the manufacturer.
