Hi!
Could some1 please tell me where US citizens do buy their tennis sporting goods (except tenniswarehouse and other similar companies)? I am currently on a round-trip in the USA and haven't found any good sporting goods shop! Any hints??
Thx

Well, I have a small shop. Perhaps I have something you want?

I don't buy from any place like Walmart. I buy on-line for stuff I am familiar with, like strings or grips. My first racquet I bought on-line after I did some research to see what fits my style best... but now I demo racquets first at tennis clubs. If the on-line price isn't too much difference from the tennis club's price where I demo'd, I'll buy it from the club. If it's a huge difference, I'll buy it on-line.
So anyway, to the original poster, if you're still looking for an answer, I would check in the phone book of whatever city you are in, and look for a local tennis club. They should have a supply of racquets, strings, stringers, and you could rent a court for 30 minutes and demo clubs too.

If you're in the New Orleans area, look me up. I have a full service shop. I stock Wilson, Head, Prince, Babolat and Dunlop. I have demos for Volkl and Yonex.
