How often does SF do tests?

I was just wondering if these string tests are randomly taking place, or are they a regular thing?

Im asking this because there are so many international strings which i have not heard of, that are being given out, and i am keen to try them out.

Also, when will the next one be, if there is another one?

How many testers are selected and how do I know if I have any chance to be selected. Is there any criterion ?

The number of testers varies with each test.
One important aspect for the selection is proven prior experience with string tests.

Still planned but slightly delayed. Application phase will start in April for sure.

So I assume the test you are talking about is the one that is about to start for the Superstring?

I was actually referring to the SuperString playtest that was originally scheduled for March but I was too busy so it started in May.

Ah okay sweet, so how long do we have till we have to post a review. Also if we usually use a Poly mains with Syn Gut crosses and we get a Poly from Super String, do we use it with the same syn gut we normally would or a full racket of it?

Reviews should be posted within 6 weeks after receipt of the string.
The test string should normally be strung fully but if you cannot play with a full poly and you're used to a specific hybrid, then it will be okay to replace your standard poly with the test string in the hybrid.

Okay I will play a hybrid but only because recently I had tennis elbow and I am doing my best to avoid it again.
