New grommet strips

Here's a real trivial question:

I needed to replace the top grommet strip (which has the head guard) on my Head Extreme Pro. The kit included grommets for the entire racket, but because replacing just the head-guard strip was so arduous and annoying, I left it at that. There's no damage to the side-strips, other than slightly squashed knot-grommets. Is there any benefit to replacing the grommet strips, ever, as long as they're not damaged?

Told you this was trivial.

I replace twenty or so bumpers in an year, seldom do I repalce the side strips unless the show sings of cracking.
