Can anyone provide supplier contact information for a good starting clamp.
If you are looking for a good starting clamp, I suggest a Babolat. There is nothing better, its that simple. The current 27mm starting clamps from them are $60US. Well worth it IMO, considering it will last +10years. No, they aren't quite as good as the old 20mm version, but still better than anything else on the market today. Go to babolat.com to find your nearest distributor.

:) Hi
Please check out our site at www.grandslamstringers.com (http://www.grandslamstringers.com) for various stringing tools, supplies, and accessories. We have a very nice starting clamp if you still need one and the site is brand new--just on line recently.

the cheapest (lowest cost) starting clamp I've found is from Eagnas (www.eagnas.com (http://www.eagnas.com)). Its $15 + $5 handling fee (if you're order is under $50) + $5 shipping. Though you add on $10 in excess charges, the $25 is still cheaper than any other place out there (ATS Sports or anywhere else)

Besides the Babolat clamps, the best ones are the Alpha and Rab clamps, IMO. I got the Rab model from GGS. It has twice the holding power of the Eagnas model. Again, you get what you pay for. GGS has the best tools out there for the price, again IMO.
