i just bought my klippermate machine off of ebay it was really cheap but the only thing is that it didnt come with any tools... or clamps... well i bought it tonight and i ordered an owl and the clamps from klippermate (i have a bunch of pliers already) so they should be coming in around the same time.. i hope this machine is fairly easy to handle im brand spankin new to stringing.... i know its small teedious work but i think i can handle it... ( on a side note - i bet all you veteran stringers are like... " yea thats wat the all say " ) haha ... well i read the reviews and all and many have seemed to like the machine... could i get some feedback from any current or past owners .. thanks alot!

lol..i bought mine on ebay w/out tools so i had to buy the clamps etc from klipper.

price turned out to be only a tiny bit cheaper than buying a new machine because klipper sells replacement parts at a rediculously high price.

also, my klippermate string gripper seems to grip very tightly so it damages my strings...

I've got the same unit, but I bought mine with all the parts/tools new. I thought the slight difference in price wasn't worth getting it used. The biggest help is the manual. If you've got the manual, you can do it. If you don't have the manual, and are new to stringing, I'd order a replacement manual from Kippermate. It really makes things a lot easier, and is easy to follow with instructions and clear photos. That, and make a phone call to your tennis racquet manufactor and get the stringing info you will need to do the best job possible. (where to tie off, what holes to skip, etc.)

yea i just finished my first job... and it looks amazing!!! i didnt use the guide i dont have a guide... i watched the videos and used the guide on this website to help me.... and i used the stringing patterns online.... it is awesome!!!!! i love it!!!! it took me like an hour and a half so it wasnt that long but i took it to the courts and i really love it! haha
