If you own or have used these two machines, could you please give your feedback, good and bad ? Thank you.
I've owned the Alpha Blu DC Plus for about 3 1/2 months. This is my first stringing machine and my first stringing experience. The machine is well made, comes with an adequate set of tools and is easy to use. I joined the USRSA and studied a lot of stringing instructions prior to using the machine. I would recommend purchasing a starting clamp because the swivel clamps are too big to position side by side on the beginning mains, such as 1 main right and 2 main left at the throat or head. Once past that point in stringing the mains the swivel clamps can be positioned side by side with no problems. I've strung about ten tennis racquets so far, no fan patterns. I purchased the machine from Tennis Machines, INC.

I had an Axis Pro and now have an Alpha Apex. Both have been very reliable and Alpha's customer support has been great. If you are interested in one, contact Mark Gonzalez at mark@alphatennis.com and tell him I said hello. He may be able to make you a good deal on one.

Ive bought this a few months ago through Mark Gonzales hes a good guy to deal with I got the Blu DC and string about 30 racquets since then Ive made back most of the money... Its a really awesome machine but as gaines says about the starting clamp... I need one.. I just pre-weave the first few.. I dont know if its good but I do it.. and it works fine.. My clamps are slipping about 30-40 racquets. I would reccomend it though I like it.
