I don’t like either having to pound in the staple or it not penetrating the handle when installing butt caps, grips, etc… Can anyone recommend a good staple gun??? Thanks, Dennis

precison2b, I claim little staple gun expertise. I assume you have searched this forum. I recall a nice discussion of staple guns on GSS. I do not use staples on grips. If added fastening is needed on grips or overgrips, I recommend the 3M double sided tape from GSS. I have the Arrow T50 and a 13A electric stapler. They are marginal and use a wider staple versus the narrow crown of the OEM. The "Hansen tacker" is an old standard manual stapler (check out ATS Sports). The GSS discussion revolves around a Sears Craftsman model and is a little pricey, unless you are doing a lot of frames. I would check out a Harbor Freight & Salvage pneumatic (if you have an air compressor) and the appropriate short narrow crown staple. Key, I believe, is enough adjustable force and the shorter narrow crown staple capability.

Thanks for the reply. I like the double sided tape idea. Thanks GotWheels
