They say a stringing machine is only as good as the clamps. So what are the best clamps on the market and where do you get them? Thanks!

Flying clamps. It would be sorta hard to install fixed clamps on a different macine.

Morgan,
thanks for your explanation on the fixed clamps, but as most stringing machines come out of a couple of factories in Taiwan or China, and as the same machines are sold under a multitude of different names, it is not uncommon that Eagnas or Extree clamps can fit many different machines. ;)

But of course you are right, it would be normal to assume that you have a machine with flying clamps, I appologise for my stupid question, I will be more attentive next time, I almost feel like Jaypro. :D

When you are looking for a specific answer to a question, it can save a lot of time by asking the question precisely, and if you had read any of the numerous postings already made on stringing machines, I have always insisted on the importance of the quality of the clamps, and always said that in my opinion, the best flying clamps are made by Stringway. These clamps are available from Laserfibre in the USA.

Cheers,

Thanks Jaycee, the laserfibre was what I was looking at. However, I can't seem to find a place to buy them on the internet. If you know of one could you please let me know. Thanks again for all the help and advice Jaycee.

As far as I know they are not available on the web. You will have to contact Laserfibre directly and sort it out by phone or by e-mails.

How soon de you need the clamps ?

There may be a solution in Europe, I can try to find them from this end. Let me know how much they cost from LF, and if what we can buy here, plus costs to send them are still competitive, maybe we can do it from this end. Keep me posted.

I won't need the clamps for a while. Thanks for the offer! I'll let you know how much they are once I call Laserfibre. Thanks.
