Hi All,

I'm stringing a racquet for a mate of mine but noticed that it really needs a new bumper strip. Had a look on 'tinternet but the first place I called said their minimum order was £25, second said it's £10, third said they'd 'get back to me.'

I'm starting to lose the will to live! Can it really be £10 for a bit of plastic?

Can anyone advise where they get their replacment bumpers from or should I just take the hit, pass on the cost and leave it at that? Trouble is I've seen them on ebay for £2.69 (Canada!) but with postage it makes it around £8.

cheers

Chris

Hi Chris

Most suppliers won't supply you unless you're trade. In saying that try W & D. They may be able to help you. Now if you want Wilson strips you can only get them through Framewok UK.

If you're really pushed in getting grommet strip(s), then drop me a line and I'll get them for you.

Regards

Paul

thanks Paul,

I made a few calls, lost patience with '25GBP minimum order' and 'it's 10 quid' and called Head UK, who said to get in touch with Apollo Leisure where I managed to get it for 8.63GBP delivered, which seems a lot but I didn't really have another option. Unfortunately I didn't think of W&D where I bought my stringer from (d'oh).

Thanks for the offer - think it'll be a while before I do another one. ;-)

cheers

Chris
