I am looking at purchasing a stringing machine and am wondering about
the Klipper versus the laserfibre 200TT. Which one do you think would be better? The price difference I am wondering if is that much better on the Laserfibre. I am new to stringing so any information and documentation that comes with the stringer would be critical for me to learn how. I am looking for any advice someone might have on this. I heard the instructions on the Klippermate is fantastic and I heard on the laserfibre the opposite. So I am leary of this. Thanks

I am new to stringing a racquet and will be stringing my racquetball frames. Are the instructions on the laserfibre basic enough for a beginning stringer? I heard that the klippermate instructions where top notch and am concerned about the instructions with the laserfibre. Any advise or experience I would appreciate it. Thanks

The Laserfibre machine is the superior machine (assuming it has fixed clamps, but even if it has the floating clamps), but is much more expensive, but a lifetime machine for personal stringing. My opinion is based on knowledge of the machine and not its use, unfortunately. You can always order a Klipper USA instruction manual as it does have good basic instruction with photographs. I undertand that Tim provides excellent telephone instruction for Laserfibre. You should some homework in learning to string in advance by using this forum's excellent stringing guide, the Silent Partner site videos, a lesson from a USRSA stringer, and/or the stringing information available from the USRSA. This site, the Talk Tennis Warehouse site, and the Grand Slam Stringer's site offer invaluable information on stringing. Be like a sponge and soak it all up. Good luck and have fun.

Thanks for the info Gotwheels. That is a great idea. The laserfibre I am looking at buying is with the floating clamps or the MS200 Eco series. That way I can upgrade to the fixed latter on if needed. I have been doing alot of research on what types of functions the different stringers have and also with alot of the various forums that you mentioned. Great Advice and thanks again.
