Hi all, What is the basic of this system, i didn't see any explanation on the site about this. It could be easy for you, but for a newbie, i find this odd to understand only a part of this. Here is my question, what is the meaning of this: Tie Off Main =7B, Start C = 8T, Tie Off C = 7T-9B for example. I know B means Bottom, T = Top, but how do you find the 7 number, is there a drawing of this ? What is the basic of this system ?

The number refers to the number of grommets from the center of the top or bottom. To find 8B, start at the middle of the throat and count out 8 holes. Be carefull! If you just count the mains, and the pattern skips 7B, you'll end up on 9B. You have to count ALL the holes, even the ones you skipped.

So, in your 2-piece example, your starting knot for the crosses will be at the 7th hole from the top (there better be a main there ;) ), and when you finish, you're final knot will be at the 9th hole from the bottom.
