Hey Domo, i am a teaching pro at a club. we have 6 indoor hard courts and 3 outdoor har-tru courts. the indoor courts just got resurfaced by the USTA for Davis Cup practice by the US and Austrian teams. They played here last year. have a good 1.
ps, we also have weights and cardio
I play for the University of Alberta, we just built a new facility. It has 8 indoor Hard courts and 9 outdoor hard courts (including Show court), at the old location not far away. We also have a weight room outdoor track, football stadium and CURLING rink.
We had the Canadien Futures #2 here last year in feb.

10 hard courts, 4 hydro-rubico (no sprinklers, waters itself from underground system). All outdoor, of course.

Rubico is very similar to Har Tru...green clay, as it were. What's different about these is the watering system. Conventional clay courts have external sprinklers. Whenever the courts get dry, the sprinklers have to be activated.
This system has piping underneath the courts that trickle water out. The water perculates upward keeping the clay moist...no sprinklers. It works great in hot climates like here in Southeast Looziana.
The one negative is when there is a heavy rain. If someone doesn't get out and shut off the water, it takes a lot longer to drain.

In the Montreal area, we have a lot to choose from. During the winter, I play at two indoor clubs which each have between 12-14 hard courts. In the summer, I can play on courts with red clay, green clay, and the hard courts at Jarry Park where the Montreal Master's series is played. There are also 8 indoor courts at Jarry Park. I haven't had the pleasure of playing on grass, but I think there are a few around.
Cheers,
Eric

At the club I play at in my city we have 2 hardcourts and 4 clay courts. The clay courts are watered and brushed once a day manually. I think this is far better than any sprinkelers that you can have because of the condition of the courts. If it is really hot and dry you can water the courts heavier because they will really need it.
