I've been trying to find info on stringing machines and am struggling a bit. There are so many choices, and so many configurations I'm lost.
I'm interested in purchasing a machine to string my own rackets and perhaps a few for friends. Obviously it needs to be accurate, but after that, the #1 priority will be ease of use. If it isn't easy, it'll likely end up not being used and I'll have wasted my money.
I've read that the Prince NEOS 1000 is super easy. How true is that? I like the idea of an electronic machine. Is that easier, more accurate, or just a waste of extra money?
I have a garage and work bench, so a table top unit would likely work a-ok. That notion led me to looking at the Gamma Progression ELS, which is both table top and electric.
What are your thoughts on buying used? Worth saving the dough, or are there major problems I could run into going that route?
Any help or recommendations would be greatly appreciated.
