Hi everyone,

First time poster here. I live in NJ and i have been looking around for a Tennis stringing job to no avail. I prolly spent the better part of 3 month of on and off searching on the internet but there are no job postings for anything of this profession. Any ideas on where to look or if you know any employers looking for one?. Im stuck at a 'on call' indoor tennis arena for now but when its only a few a week its not much money. I have at least 5 years experience now in the field and what to make it a full time job. Any help is appreciated. thanks

Brett

Hello Brett,

Welcome to the forum. You will find a lot of helpfull and knowledgeable people here that can help in may areas of the sport.

We are located in NJ also and this is the off season for tennis so it will be difficult to find a stringing job. However, the good news is that there is less competition now, but you will not find positions listed on the internet in NJ. Your best best is to go to the tennis facilities and introduce yourself. It would also help if you have a good resume, are certified and can demonstrate or explain various stringing patterns. You may have to travel a bit to find a position, but keep trying and get your name around; best of luck.

Cheers, TennezSport

Well its High school tennis time and good weather is right around the corner. Anyone interested in hiring me as a stringer? 5yr + experience.
