I am trying to string a Babolat Pure Drive +. I assume that I should use two-piece stringing. When I am starting the crosses, I can't quite understand where I tie it. I read on the guide, but I couldn't understand. If you could explain further, it would be much appreciated.

Hi there,
the pattern is as follows (www.klippermate.com (http://www.klippermate.com)) :
2 piece stringing
Skip Main holes 8 Top and 8 Bottom
Tie off Mains at hole 6 Bottom
Start crosses at hole 8 Bottom (unusual, but anyway)
Tie off crosses at hole 7 Top
Maybe you have a problem finding the string/hole to which you have to tie the crosses first.
Look for a main string going through a bigger hole anywhere near hole 8 bottom, tie it there and start the crosses like stated above at hole 8 Bottom.
Hi there
If you start the crosses using two piece method at the throat, wont that cause stress on the frame?
Is this what babolat recommends?
Is there some reason why you coudn't start the crosses at the head?
Thanks
Rob
