I am playing at on highschool on varisty and recently had my Prince more Control DB break at the tungsten plate. I was really used to this racket because it had excellent control and no power, I made my own. I have been taking lessons the whole year so I have good form and spin. In order to play while warranty was covering it, I got a head liquidmetal 4. The liquidmetal 4 is too powerful for me and I am playing bad due to it.
I should get a replacement for the prince tomorrow and I want to get it strung as fast as possible, what do you recommend and at what tension? I used Prince Lightning at 58lbs which worked decently, but wasn't anything special and I used Babolat superfine play@58lbs which I would love to go back to because of the spin and feel but it wore out way too fast(two weeks). My head racket is strung with the strings that came with it at 57lbs and is just way too powerful.
What do you guys recommend I get, I need good spin and a good string taht will last for a while. I do hit pretty hard and have a long fast swing. Would it be good to stick with the babolat string or try something from luxilon, gamma, or something else?
Also, are there any recommendations to making the head liquidmetal more suitable for me, I would like to get some tighter strings that give topspin?
