Hints for successful trading

Although Stringforum.net is not involved in any activities between a buyer and a seller, it is of course in our interest to have successful, secure trades among the members.
Therefore some hints to ensure a positive experience when buying an item from another member:

- Usually the seller will ask for the payment first and then ship the item.
- Before paying, ask the seller for his/her full contact, including postal address and telephone number.
- Get in touch with the seller by phone before you make any transaction. Discuss shipping options with him/her (insurance, trackability).
- The seller should agree to provide the buyer with a copy of the shipping receipt / tracking number.
