Default Prestige Pro - retail vs. pro stock feel

I have played the Youtek Prestige Pro and IG Prestige Pro. I like the softer feel of the IG version. I know that the pro stock versions are made of different materials. I was wondering how the TGK238.5 version would feel compared to the retail versions (if they had the same spec's).

The Pro stock version (TGK238.5) is not made of different material composition than the retail racket. However, it is made lighter and different balance, allowing for easier customization. That customization also creates a different feel -- silicone in the handle makes it more muted (and softer feel due to absorbtion of vibrations and more mass in the handle) than the retail racket.

Some Pro stock rackets (the PT's for example) are indeed made of different materials, i.e. lack the "new technologies".

How exactly do you know this to be a fact?

I don't personally know this. It is discussed in many threads here and elsewhere. Is it true? I have no idea.
