Tensioning problems w/ Head Ti-S7 XL frame...

Thanks for the "introduction" everyone...lots of my friends call me Red Rider..either is fine...Just THIS DAY...getting back to stringing after a LONG gap of almost 5 years...and my first problem came right away ---

HAS ANYONE ELSE HAD A SIGNIFICANT PROBLEM STRINGING HEAD'S Ti-S7 XL Titan frame ? I have a VERY clean and reasonably accurate Ektelon Model [F] updated to a full Model [H]..so accuracy or stability isn't the issue...BUT DRAW BAR LENGTH ON THE TENSIONER ..."is"......
{First pull]..I marked a small black dot ahead of the tensioning jaw and monitored it to see if I had the jaw pressure right for slippage...A-OK... IT APPEARS THAT THERE IS SIMPLY NOT ENOUGH TENSION BAR LENGTH TO REACH THE DESIRED TENSION ON THE FIRST M1-(r)...Pretty hard to get going if you can't tension the first main...<chuckles> : I fully realize the extended extra length of THIS frame...just didn't expect this kind of issue at first...ANY HELP OR ADVICE WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED... :
