I have 2 pro stock MG prestige midplus rackets TGK 238.1 in 8.0 condition grip 4 1/2 head finest calfskin .

Yep. Leaded under the caps grommets and silcone in the handles is installed.
359 grams ( they are strung) Balance 315mm. Standard length: 27 inches .

Is is that the PT57A has different fibers-Tawron?-and is thus a far superior racket?

Many details about that on the TT board...where you found the other info.
I am not sure what you mean by "far superior racket".
It all depends of the user -- for some the Wal Mart edition may be superios over the pro stock.

The PT57A and 238.1 are same mold, different materials and characteristics racket. Both are different from the paint/retail they support. The PT57A is an old, classic feel racket. The 238.1 is the pro version of the MG Prestige MP
