Hi Vidda,

Do you happen to know how the head size and string pattern density of this Cilic frame compares to a Youtek Prestige Pro or its pr stock counterpart, the TGK 238.5? I know the YTPP is technically a 98 sq. inch frame, but in reality a 95 sq. inch frame.

And do you happen to know the RA value (stiffness) of the Cilic frame? Is it around 62 unstrung?

sorry to all your questions I do not know the answers.

I can say is that I never played with the retail model since this model does not exist in retail (630cm ² head size & string pattern 16/19).

TGK238.5 is more rigid and possesses the caped grommets.

TGK231.3 is more flexible (the RA is very similar to a PT57A)

( I think it's maybe 54 or 57 but lower 60 RA strung or unstrung I don't know )

I might be interested if it's a true 98 sq. inch.... However, unless you or someone else can confirm or deny it, I'll have to assume it's a true 95 sq inch frame and I prefer at least 98 sq. inch...

Another drawback is that it's impossible to buy grommets for this frame, as it's a different mold compared to the retail version of the Youtek Radical....

I know this is a 98 "since the mold is the same size has a prestige YouTek pro (which is a model 98")

for the grommets yes it's impossible to buy in store but the grommets is the teflon grommets & it's very solid , I have a friend who plays with this frame since a year and a half and grommets are still in excellent condition (I know because it's me who's rope frames)

but you are free , if you don't want buy ( you are free ) .

The mold is not the same as the YTPP. The 231.x mold is the Microgel Radical MP mold, therefore, the head size is exactly the same as the MG Radical MP.
It is also a stiffer layup than the Radical MP (.3). I would expect the stiffness to be in the low 60's for the 231.3.

I'm not saying it's the same mold, I say it's the same size mold, because the question of the member to which I reply was "this is a 98 or 95?" and I say that c is a 98 because when you put the TGK231.3 TGK238.5 on the size of the racket head 98 is the same I do not compare two different taotalement model is not comparable.
for the stiffnes:

I played for a long time with PT57A and I played with TGK231.3 for over a year every day (5 hours per day) and I can say that the rigidity of the frame is almost identical to a PT57A (if there is a difference is small because there is a huge part of flexibility, all those who buy these TGK231.3 say it is super easy on the impact and very sweet to play). indicating an RA under 60.
