I am having issues with shearing in the mains without the grommets. It is shearing at the bottom of the 4th string. I am thinking about stringing them with the grommets at the bottom and top but not on the open ports. Is the grommets on the top and bottom suppose to be used? Has anyone tried this before? Does the racquet perform well?
The bends are fairly sharp so if you are having shear breaks, by all means use the grommets.
As a Prince O3 player since their release, I have found that the 3 to 9 axis influences the feel more than the 6 to 12.
Try it and at most you may want to change the mains tension by a Kg or so.
