Default Need Help picking strings!

Looking for some advice as to what type of strings I should try out on my Head i.radical (OS).....Im a player that generates lots of power and I also hit with lots of top spin. So im looking for something that will give much more touch and control. Also if anyone has suggestions as to what tension I should string it at for more control, drop me a line. Thanks

Hi c007.

You may find the post entitled "Before Asking What Strings Are best for a certain kind of racquet" useful. If you want touch and control, a thinner string at a higher tension would work. The trade off will be durability. Also, some people feel multifilament Synthetics give better control. An option in this category that is affordable but no less effective than other strings is the Gosen OG micro. There certainly are strings out there that may help a bit more with control. However, if you really do genenrate your own power and you move to thinner strings at tighter tensions, you will really appreciate the micro's affordability (i.e., you will be breaking a lot of string).

If price is not an issue, try natural gut.

As allways, looking forward to other people's opinnions.
