| Too pricey and the tension maintenance is too poor for constant restringings. It created a lot of spin and power compared to most other polyesters. |

Easy to string.
This string provides better spin than my standard string Pro's Pro Vendetta.
Power and control were also good.
Overall I'm very happy with this string. |

| I played with this string in a tournament. and after three matches, it was just dead. No tension left in it. But those three matches I had amazing control and spin on the ball. I used it as a hybrid with synthetic gut crosses and that worked well. I would only recommend this string to someone who can afford to cut out and restring their racquets after about three matches. |

The string felt special for me from the first hit. I've never had such an impression of pinpoint control before. The balls went where I wanted them to go. The excellent spin potential resulted in great depth control. Also slice was very successful with this string. Power was possible only on clean hits. But that's alright. In the sweetspot, enormous power was possible!
Stringing is a bit tedious when pulling the crosses due to the texture. I would recommend to string at least 2 lbs lower than your usual poly tension.
There wouldn't be any better string for me if the price wasn't that high. Even if I should develop some arm problems long-term, I think these could be avoided by using a multifilament in the crosses. I already tried that and it worked great with the Isospeed Professional+. However the Alu Power Rough cuts through a multifilament rather quickly (for the such a combination lasts less than 4 hours on an average). |

| The comparison relates to the Topspin Cyber Flash 1.25. I think one should rather compare this string to a Signum Pro Plasma Hextreme or so, since the texture provides added spin potential. Overall I don't know any string that's really similar to the Alu Power Rough. It was a totally new experience to me. |
