| I had surgery for a serious case of tennis elbow that bothered me for 6 months. My Sports Medicine Orthopedic Surgeon recommended I either switch to natural gut or Tecnifibre strings. |

| This string has great feel, decent spin and control, great power, and is good for players with arm problems. I compared this string to Klip Pro Armour Gut, MSV Focus Hex, Head Rip Control, and Signum Pro Poly Plasma. |

Durability is good for a multifilament. Unfortunately the price is quite high, so I wish it would last a bit longer. When freshly strung, this is one of the best multifilaments I know. It provides excellent power and very good control at the same time. The best thing about this string is the touch. It is very elastic and provides a large sweetspot so it is comfortable and you don't have to hit exactly in the center all the time. String movement is a bit annoying but that's normal for a multifilament. One downside for me was the lack of tension stability. Tension is constant for a while but around 2 hours before it breaks there is a significant tension loss, which causes a dramatic increase in power and a dramatic loss of control. That's when I normally cut out the strings.
If you have the budget and are looking for an alternative to natural gut, you should try this string. For topspin players it is only recommendable in a hybrid combination due to the lack of durability. |

| No matter what string setup I use, I just keep coming back to this string. My last setup was Luxilon Alu Power Rough on the mains and Forten Sweet Synthetic Gut on the cross and it started to give me arm problems so I needed to stop. I switched back over to the X-One Biphase and I just love this string. The amount of control and feel is very solid and also it has a great amout of spin and power so I was able to generate a lot of topspin on my forehand and backhand and was getting more movement on my slice backhands. For my serve it had a well balanced amount of power so I was still able to hit hard flat serves and also my kick and slice serves had a lot of spin so it actually slide or kicked away from who ever I was playing. X-One Biphase is and will always be my favorite string no doubt. |
