The Tecnifibre X-One Biphase 17G and 16G strings are very similar although the 17G offers more spin and seems to a bit easier on the arm. However, the durability is about 3 times longer with the 16G string.

That butter feel is very unique, no other string offers you that feel. Enjoyed the string but I strung it at 64 lbs, way too high especially in a 18x20 string pattern.

Even at this high tension the string felt nice, good power (which NRG2 didn't have) and spin potential, but I felt that NRG2 is a better string as I'm a flat hitter and it suited my game.

Felt very nice, but I strung this way too high 64 lbs, lol crazy. It has a nice buttery hitting feel which is unique and no other string has. Frayed a lot quicker than NRG2, but I did prefer NRG2.

Being a multifilament player who has tested a lot of highly rated strings so far, I have to declare the X-One Biphase as my favorite string.
I prefer the 1.24 mm gauge although I like thin strings, but the 1.18 mm version did not perform as well for me overall.
This string has a specialty: During the first 2 hours it does not perform at its best, but then it loses some tension and provides excellent playing characteristics, and maintains this level almost until the end. Normally I prefer to play freshly strung racquets, but not with this one.
Played on clay and on fast carpet with good Dunlop Fort Tournament balls. Due to the great feel, the switch between the different surfaces was easier than with other strings.

Isospeed Professional
Durability Power Control Feel Comfort Spin Tension Stability
The X-One Biphase performs better on fast strokes and much better on soft strokes than the Isospeed.
Other multifilaments may provide similar levels of power and comfort, but the X-One provides a really unique combination of power, feel and control.

This is the reference string in the multifilament department so everyone should have tested it to know the benchmark. Recommendable especially for aged players with sensitive arms and flat strokes. If you hit with topspin, it won't last too long.
For me it is too expensive in the long run and I also need a crisper feel.
