Easy to string (pre-stretching is recommended). Played indoors on carpet. Highly recommendable, however it is not suitable for heavy topspin players since it will be too expensive in the long run - I would rather recommend the 1.30 mm version in this case.
Great feel - among the best on the multifilament market.

Compared to the 1.30 mm version I could produce better spin but the trade-off was decreased durability.

This string should be strung higher than usual. I strung 2 lbs above my average tension and the string still provided too much power and thus I lost control.
Strung tighter the string is definitely one of the most interesting I've tried so far.

The string provided a nice lively feel and remarkable comfort. I think this one is highly recommendable for players suffering from tennis elbow.

The string excels in power and liveliness. In the beginning I had trouble keeping the balls in but after around 1 hour of adapting I was able to control the power and I had a "wow" effect on almost every shot.
In all aspects this one is a bit better than the Isospeed Professional. Only downside is the string movement.
Overall a great enjoyable string.
Update: Unfortunately the string loses its playability after 10-12 hours of play and then plays only average. Considering this, it is quite expensive.

Since the Isospeed Professional was voted String of the Year 2007 on this site I compared the X-One Biphase to the Isospeed Professional in parallel. Both strings were strung on the same day at identical tension. I used both strings alternatingly. The Tecnifibre is much better in all aspects, I guess it was not voted due to its high price.

I am currently using this string for crosses in a hybrid with Luxilon Big Banger Alu Power in the mains. I recently went to the hybrid configuration. I previously played with Big Banger Ace. I loved the Ace but they did not last long enough for me (3 matches). This hybrid combination differs from the Ace in that it has more power and slightly less control. It has very good comfort and the loss of control and feel is an acceptable trade for the increase in durability. The Tecnifibre X-One Biphase does start to fray by the end of the first match but seems to be holding up the tension and continues to play well into 5th match.

I did not previously play with multi-filament so it is hard for me to offer a multifilament reference.
