Unfortunately this string did not meet my expectations. It definitely provides better feel than the Poly-Hightec, but by far not as good feel as the Kirschbaum Super Smash 1.275 or the Head Rip Control 1.20.

Stringing is no problem. In the 1.18mm version the Poly Plasma no longer provides a dead feel but rather direct and crispy feel. The tension stability is quite good for a poly and the durability is amazing for a 1.18mm string. A great poly and a good value for sure.

The Signum is the best value string I've tried so far. It has the same characteristics as top strings like Tecnifibre Spinfire Maxi Power or Big Banger Original, but it comes at 1/3 or 1/4 of the price. The 1.18 has good durability for its gauge, but for string breakers I would recommend the 1.28 mm version, its durability is awesome. Great control, feel, and power, what else do I need? I think I've found my new favorite string :9

Similar to the Big Banger Original and Tecnifibre Spinfire Maxi Power, but a lot more comfortable and cheaper :)

Played up to 3 times a week for 1 month, it's a really pleasure to hit the ball with. Very good string overall plus the thinner gauge gives some nice spin.
Well above average comfort for a poly (unlike Luxilons). One of the best price/performance strings. |
