Good overall string. It feels a little bit stiffer than the 1.23. Power level is fantastic yet the control is there. I like playing co-polys and SPPP is the best I have tried so far. The 1.23 is my new standard string.

One of the best strings for the money! I used to play with Luxilon Big Banger Alu Power Rough, also a very good string, but I think I prefer this SPPP 1.18, much better feel and control. Recommended!

No special observations during stringing.
When first hitting with this string (indoors) I instantly liked the great depth control and spin potential. I could also notice a more comfortable feedback compared to the Topspin Cyber Flash.
In the end, I was convinced by the power, control and feel of this string. This is my new standard string.
I cannot say much about the durability yet since the string broke at the frame after a brutal miss hit. I will update my rating soon.
Update: I've strung the string 3 times now and every time it broke at a miss-hit. That will be quite annoying on the long run (the windy season is still to come). I will now try the hybrid of SPPP 1.18 and Topspin Cyber Flash. |

Compared to the Head Rip Control 16L, the Poly Plasma 1.18 is really more powerful but with a very good control and an incredible tension stability; you can play many hours without losing your favourite tension.

An amazing string that has all the characteristics of higher priced strings. However, this string has a tendency to break on shanked/mis hit shots at a frequent rate. My first experience ended after 20 minutes (but it was an exciting 20 mins).
