| I have not played many poly strings, but this one is a winner. I did not drop the tension 10% as recommended, but this string (1.18) has almost as much feel as gut and more power. Easier on the arm than the other Poly strings I have tried. I have never hit my forehand better. Update: I have to string more often because of tension loss. It helps to use a good synthetic gut in the cross strings. |

A direct comparison to the Tecnifibre Pro RedCode 1.25 showed that the Poly Plasma 1.18 works better in the Flexpoint Prestige MP, no matter if you hit hard or with feel. Although I'm not a Plasma fan, I think that the string is perfectly suited for the Prestige.
More comparisons to come. I've already replaced the RedCode 1.25 with a hybrid of Babolat VS Team 1.25 mains and Signum Pro Poly Megaforce 1.19 crosses. Unfortunately it's raining today... |
