| Strung as mains with synthetic gut hybrid. These strings are too stiff for me to use outside of a hybrid setup. Plays much livelier and more comfortable compared to kevlar strings. Difficult to manipulate while stringing. Best spin strings I have played with by far. Currently my string of choice for my mains on Head MP, but can feel too stiff and boardy on other racquets (e.g. Prince Original Graphite 90). Unfortunately after about 20 hours of play, it suddenly drops tension to where it's unusable. |

| The first few hours (2-3) I was quite happy with the string. Great spin and very crisp feel in the beginning. But then it lost its characteristics so quickly that it was soon no longer playable for me (no control, no feel). I won't use this string again. |

| Great spin - but only for the first hours. The string gets "round" very quickly. It lacks something compared to the modern strings. |

| This string plays quite good at the beginning, nice power, nice spin generation, also feel isn't bad. The strange thing I noticed is that tension dropped two times, the first soon after 2-3 hours, then continued playing good(more soft) for other 4-5 hours, then tension dropped badly and it was unplayable! |

Stiff, stiffer, Kirschbaum Spiky. Amazing how stiff a poly can be. One realizes that this string has been there for a long time and that meanwhile there are lots of polys that play much better.
When the temperature rises, the string feels like a trampoline, without control. My arm started hurting again after playing with the Super Smash Spiky. It's a pity that such strings are still on the market while there are much better polys. I won't play this string again as a full job. |
