I've tested the Focus Hex in the 1.23 and 1.18 diameters before and did not get along with it very well.
Unfortunately it was not different with the 1.10. The string provides a stiff and dull feedback. I played the string for a longer period since I read that other testers found the string to soften up with time, but for me that wasn't the case. I also tried a hybrid of Focus Hex 1.10 mains and my standard string Co-Focus 1.18 in the crosses.
Overall the string provides good power and control, but still I just can't make friends with the feel of this string. |

| At first there was no string movement, but after around 6 hours of play I had to straighten the strings all the time. After that, the comfort dropped significantly so I got arm problems for the first time in 10 years. |

| Overall I'm satisfied with this string. The only negative aspect for me was the quick tension loss. Thus I would recommend to string as tight as possible. However at too high tensions, 1.10 mm strings might break during stringing. |
