Despite the low tension the string felt very stiff. Durability was good despite the thin gauge. Power was sufficient. Spin was very good.
Good string for the price. |

| MSV Focus-Hex 1.10 is a very interesting string with enormous spin potential. I like the Tornado 1.17 a bit better. But in any case, this is definitely worth a test on a dense string pattern if you are no string breaker. |

| Best string so far - 1.10 is priceless. It's a shame about the poor durability and some lack of tension stability, but I believe it comes with the territory. 4.5* |

| Much better than Tecnifibre Black Code 1.24 or Babolat RPM Blast 1.25 - more comfort & control with the Focus-Hex 1.10. Better than Luxilon Big Banger Alu Power in comfort and feel (not in power for sure). |

No problems during stringing. Played on clay with Babolat practice balls.
Highlights of this string are clearly the spin and control. However the string lacked power and feel. Stringing softer or using another cross string did not have a positive effect in this regard. Another drawback of this string is the lack of tension stability.
Nevertheless: Definitely worth a test! |

I haven't tried that many strings yet, so maybe it's not fair to compare the Focus-Hex with the much higher priced Big Banger Ace, but here the Ace is clearly better. Especially the lack of power and tension stability were a bit disappointing.
Since I prefer thin gauges, I'd like to compare this string to Pro's Pro Black Force/Red Devil:
The MSV Focus-Hex provides much better spin and control. However the remaining characteristics are worse.
I think I will stick with the Pro's Pro due to the price/performance ratio.
Overall the best string is still the Big Banger Ace, but not for my budget. |

| Played outdoors on clay with new Dunlop Fort balls at warm and dry conditions. I had read many positive comments and wanted to try it myself. At this thin gauge, this string provides enormous spin. Unfortunately I lacked some control and precision, which is very important for my game. Nevertheless I can recommend to try this string, since the positive aspects dominate. |

| Played in direct comparison to Pro's Pro Blackout. These are similar strings. Biggest differences are that the Pro's Pro provides better power but less spin. |
