| What I can say about the durability is that I've been playing the string for one month now and it is still fine. It provides gread control, but on the other hand, since it is a stiff string, it does not provide as much feel as other strings. Overall highly recommendable! |

One thing I have noticed about this string is that it is a bit sensitive to temperature. When it gets cool or cold outside I need to have a couple of sticks about 5 lbs looser ready to go depending on how cold it is.
If it's 70 to 100 degrees out, 57lbs or a couple pounds above mid tension seems to work ok for me but when it turns cool or cold, the string gets dead and the ball just doesn't want to go. That may be noticeable with almost any string but even more so with this stuff! I usually drop the tension about 5 lbs and blend in Alu Power Rough on the crosses. That seems to soften it up enough to get back in the zone of a somewhat normal reaction when the ball is struck. BB Alu Touch is another hybrid option that has an even softer feel for the cold weather but when it warms up it's back to regular Alu for me! The pop is great and when the ball eggs out from heavy top or slice, nothing compares to it. The BB Alu Rough does have better touch on volleys but doesn't have as much pop or quite the durability of regular Alu. |

| I usually use a mix of Alu Power with a soft feeling cross string. I found that Gosen's Bio Gut line is really good with Alu Power. It gives a great balance and feels great also giving excellent control and power. |

I strung my Fischer MS Pro 90 using Big Banger Alu Power 1.25 (mains) at 62 and Gosen Biogut 1.30 (crosses) at 61. It gives a nice balance between stiffness, feel and touch.
Recently I swapped the Alu Power for Tecnifibre Pro RedCode, and I found that although RedCode is similar to Alu Power in tension holding and stiffness, it doesn't feel as good as Alu Power and doesn't give the control that Alu Power gives. |

| I liked this string, especially on the serve, where it provided great control and power. Also great from the baseline. However I cannot get used to the feel. Otherwise this would be my new standard string since it keeps its tension very well and the strings don't move. The string lasts me long enough considering the price. |
