After all the hype around the Big Banger I had to try one of these strings too. My first disillusion came after a few minutes. The suggested 10% lower tension compared to other strings (for me multifilament strings) were a mistake. The string was way too soft and I could only play with it after spending some time getting used to it. After 7 hours I cut out the Big Banger because the string was no longer playable. Overall the Luxilon is certainly a string without big weaknesses, and considering the durability plus the good playing characteristics a great string. But being a self stringer, considering the high price I would rather recommend to use a cheaper monofilament with less durability. Played on clay. Durability is related to singles play.

Much too expensive, and absolutely no "power". Strings and plays like iron wire. Sounds like an aluminum baseball bat when you hit the ball. There are many better polys at lower prices. Maybe the string is better suitable for use in a hybrid.

Awesome poly, much better spin and power than my standard string Kirschbaum Super Smash Spiky 1.20. The tension stability is also better. However the Alu Power is much too expensive for 2 hours of durability. The Spiky doesn't last me longer than 1 to 1.5 hours either, but then it costs only about 1/4 of the price of the Alu Power. Comfort is a bit worse.
