Strung in two pieces at 24/23 kg. The string felt stiff during stringing and did not stretch much. Otherwise no problems during stringing.
Played indoors on carpet for approx. 4 hours with Head ATP balls. Initially the string played quite stiff but after 10-20 minutes this got better. I did not have any issue with my wrist and elbow, but maybe that was due to the Cortex system and dampener.
After stringing I measured a DT value of 32, after 2 hours of play the stringbed was at 30 DT. While I was not happy with the power in the beginning, this improved with tension loss. After 4 hours it was still at 30 DT.
Power was very good and consistent after the break-in period of 20 minutes. I was happy with the spin potential although the string is not as spinny as a textured poly.
Great string, which has its price, but I think it's justified. |

| Not really comparable because the Alu Power plays at a higher level. But I can say that the Poly Plasma does play nice and provides better comfort. Spin is about the same, and the Alu Power provides better control. |

The bottom line: if you do not hit in the center of the string bed 9/10 times, then this string will break your arm (even if you use a soft string as a hybrid).
Even though people say this string gives you "power", the string actually feels dead and lends very little power. However, you get so much spin and control from this string that you can swing as hard as you want and the ball will dip into the court more times than not. |
