Played on clay with new Dunlop Fort Tournament balls.
Basically a great string. Great spin, power, control, and feel. Great feedback on almost all strokes. Only problem is the lack of comfort - every (!) stroke hurt my arm. After one hour I cut out the strings and used it only as a hybrid in the mains with my standard poly in the crosses. Playability of the hybrid was OK, and no more arm problems. Still spin and power were above average.
I was a bit disappointed by the durability. After 4 hours the strings started to move, and broke after 5 hours. Even the Rip Control lasts longer...
Conclusion: Expensive string with great characteristics, however not for everyone. I personally could use it again in a hybrid. |
