Played on clay in a hybrid with Gamma Live Wire Professional 17 crosses.
The Alu Power is one of the poly classics and it polarizes like nothing else, either you love it or you hate it. It's stiff, provides great power and control, but loses tension quickly. It does not break on me, but after around 4 hours (the cross string lasts me 8 hours) it just feels dead and loses its playability. And it's the only string that gives me arm problems. For me there is hardly any difference to the Pro's Pro Cyber Power, except that the Cyber Power does not cause me arm problems, so I prefer the latter. Furthermore I think the Alu Power is way overpriced. But if you don't mind the high price and re-string after 4 hours, you'll enjoy it!
I'm looking forward to trying the Alu Power Spin next. I hope it will be better than the Alu Power. |
