I cut out the string after 7 hours of play due to arm problems, so no rating of the durability.
Comfort was the main issue with this string, it felt quite hard on my arm in the Head Extreme Pro when I didn't hit exactly in the sweetspot. That was different from other strings I've played so far.
Initially I had to get used to the string, but after one hour it felt very controlled and spin friendly. Strangely, power seemed to decrease with increasing playing time, even though the stringbed seemed to get softer.
Overall one of the better polys which I've tried lately, but I will stick with my Tornado/SPPP hybrid. |

I received the string as a free test set from Solinco.
No problems during stringing. Strung in one piece.
Played on clay with new or almost new balls from various brands.
I liked the string from the start. It provided superb control and good feel. Despite the good power I never had the feeling of losing control.
The string provided good spin potential, which was maintained until the end.
Tension stability was also very good. I've rarely seen such a good tension maintenance in other polys.
Only drawback is the lack of comfort. I noticed a slight pain in my arm already during the first hour, which got worse the longer I played this string.
Unfortunately I cannot use it for myself due to the comfort issue, but I can highly recommend it for players who don't have a sensitive arm. |

Played mainly on clay court.
Unfortunately I had strung too tight. So I could not generate power and developed some arm pain. Therefore I had to cut out the strings after approx. 6 hours of play.
The 1.15 mm version lasted me 20 hours so I guess the 1.25 mm version might last evel longer, so I rate durability with extremely good. |

Strung on a drop weight machine without problems, less recoil memory than Luxilon Alu Power.
Nice, slightly metallic feel on impact, quite crisp and lively. Great spin potential (best on slice, but also very good on topspin) and control.
Power was also very good. Tension stability was outstanding, the string seemed to maintain its tension throughout the entire test period (4 hours indoors on clay, 2 hours on carpet). Comfort was alright but not extraordinary.
Overall this string is better than a textured Alu Power. |

Strung in two pieces on a drop weight machine.
Played indoors on carpet with various sorts of balls.
The string has really some sharp edges but still doesn't hurt the fingers during stringing.
If you hit with lots of spin, the edges wear round quite quickly, but spin potential does not seem to suffer a lot. Interestingly neither mains nor crosses were notched when the string broke, so the snapping was a bit surprising, also because the string's characteristics almost hadn't changed (only a little string movement towards the end). Thumbs up for that!
Strangely the Tour Bite felt quite heavy for me, almost as if I had a 1.35 mm string on my racquet. Another test with another 1.25 mm cross string confirmed my impression...
Considering the moderate power, I think that the Tour Bite 1.20 might be better for me. But still I'm very happy with this string!
If you are looking for a profiled control string with constant characteristics, you should definitely give this string a try. |

| The Solinco is more expensive but the price is justified by the great performance. You can really rely on the Tour Bite from the first hit to the last. |
